Ans- ley's plantation yesterday John Hugh Robinson, son of the farm superintendent, had his hand and arm badly lacerated by the gin. Mr. Speer was a member of the Leslie Baptist Church. The Revs. Ira Faglier and C.H. Hornsby officiated at the rites. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Judson Cheves, Griffin, and three sons, Alva E. Speer, Ochlochnee, Herbert L. Speer, Pahokee, Fla., and John S. Speer, Dahlo- nega; also five grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Interment was in the Leslie ceme- tery. Rees Park Chapel of Americus was in charge of arrangements."
