Sept 24,1936  "MORROW TAKES OATH AS JUDGE - Troy G. Morrow, local
              attorney, was sworn in Saturday afternoon (Sept. 
              19th) by Ordinary Walter Stewart, as Judge of the
              City Court of Ellaville.  The place was made vacant
              by the death of Judge E.J. Hart...Mr. Morrow has 
              been working the past several years with the F.E.-
              R.A. and the W.P.A.  Prior to that he taught school 
              in Sumter county.  At present he is connected with 
              the Federal Housing Administration."
Sept 25,1936  TCN - "MORROW IS JUDGE ELLAVILLE COURT - Troy G. 
              Morrow has recently been appointed judge of the 
              City Court of Ellaville...Judge Morrow is a gradu-
              ate of the University of Georgia and formerly prac-
              ticed law in Atlanta.  For the past several years 
              he has made his home in Ellaville.  Friends of 
              Judge Morrow feel that he is well qualified for the
              position of judge and are gratified to know of his
              appointment."

Sept 12,1940  TCN - "Arin Robinson, 83, a retired Ellaville busi-
              nessman, died at his home here Monday afternoon 
              (Sept. 9th).  Mr. Robinson was born in Gadsden 
              County, Florida, and spent a number of years in 
              Sumter county farming before coming to Ellaville, 
              where he entered the grocery business.  He retired
              six years ago because of ill health...He is survi-
              ved by...sons, J.H. Robinson, Ellaville; A.F. Rob-
              inson, Alpine, Texas;...daughters, Mrs. Hugh Mills,
              Albany; Mrs. Troy Morrow, Ellaville...Interment was
              in Ellaville cemetery."

              ville, who was recently stationed at Fort Benning,
              has been transferred to Fort Benjamin Harrison, In-
              dianapolis, Indiana.  He has been placed in the fi-
              nance department of the Army and is now attending 
              the Army Finance School.  At the completion of this
              course he will go to Germany for a tour of duty.
              Captain Morrow is the son of Judge and Mrs. Troy 
              Morrow of Ellaville.  He is married and has one ba-
